6/94 Kenrick Mausoleum, in Churchyard GV II

Mausoleum. Mid C18, restored 1952. Erected by Clayton Kenrick in memory of his father John Kenrick and sister Elizabeth (inscription on frieze). Ashlar. Square in plan. Moulded plinth and cornice to base; 2 arcaded inscription panels to each side, with architrave arches on piers, and Tuscan columns supporting entablature. Octagonal ashlar dome, stone urn finial with swags, 2 surviving corner urns. Inscriptions to members of the Kenrick family are now mostly illegible.
