5/347 Luggershall Farmhouse

23.6.52 II

Detached farmhouse. Early-mid C18. Random rubble limestone; brick rebuilt chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic. West front: 4-window fenestration, all formerly timber cross windows, now replaced by metal cross windows; rendered lintels. Off-centre doorway with plank door and rectangular light over. Two gabled attic dormers, roof hipped at south end only. Projecting chimney stack to north gable end with single-storey lean-to below. Rear: 3 steep gables, lower 2-storey wing attached to left gable. C20 metal casement fenestraton as to front. Single-storey wing to right. C20 flat-roofed addition between wings is not of special interest. Interior not inspected.
