EASTLEACH EASTLEACH MARTIN SP 1905-2005 13/178 Old Rectory II Former rectory, now detached house. c1730. Random rubble limestone, coursed rubble to addition; ashlar chimneys; concrete tile and stone slate roofs. Two-storey, rectangular double-pile plan; 2-storey east wing. North front: 2-window fenestration with projecting chimney to right having 4 incised shafts and moulded cap. All windows 12-pane sashes in plain surrounds. Central rusticated round arched doorway with fanlight and 4-panel fielded door. Tall hipped roof. South front: formerly symmetrical with 3-window fenestration, left windows replaced by early C20 two-storey canted bay window with plate glass ground floor and 12-pane upper floor sashes; Fenestration otherwise 12- pane ground floor and 9-pane upper floor sashes. Square-headed doorway with moulded architraves and 4-panel door; lunette with fanlight immediately above. Alternating chamfered quoins. Hipped roof to lower early C20 addition to right with cantilevered timber- framed upper floor to linking section. Interior not inspected.
