SP 1935 7/42 BLOCKLEY ASTON MAGNA
Nos 14, 15 & 16 (Windy Cottage, Inglenook and Aston Chace) GV II
Circa 1700. Picturesque Cotswold cottage row. Built in coursed rubble with modern tiled roof. Two storeys, Nos 14 and 15 altered as pair with central modern doors with integral fanlights: one window each, 3-light mullioned casements with drips on ground floor. Lower 2 window extension to right, No 16, formerly only single storey: early C18 with central Tudor arch doorway and later casement windows (Aston Chace).
Interior of Inglenook has chamfered spine beam and joists with steps and a large inglenook fireplace. Inglenook also has an arched gable light to attic (rear).
