  1. Late C14. 3 storeys timber-framed and rendered. 3 dormers. Second floor has 2 C19 sashes. First floor has a original 2 light opening and 3 casements. Overhang. Exposed curved braces. Late C19 shopfront.

Nos 38 to 44 (consec) and Nos 1 to 9 (consec) Butchery Lane together with Nos 1 to 8A (consec) and Nos 10 to 16 Mercery Lane form a group.
