4/33 The Manor House & Boundary wall and Gate Piers ( formerly listed 1.10.53 as "Manor House")
GV II
House. Late C18. Brick with Welsh slate roof. 3 storeyed, 3 bays with central 6 panelled door with traceried fanlight in canopy with console. Flanking windows are 3 light casements with transoms on each floor, 2 lights over the door. Gable end stacks. Lower rear wing is an early C20 addition in a vernacular revival idiom. Brick with Swithland slate roof with overhanging eaves and steeply arched heads with keystones to wood mullioned and transomed windows. Dormers above. Moulded stringcourses. These additions also include a wide canted bay window in the north gable of the house with Venetian window over. Lean-to rear extension contains recessed door and window and is cut by an expressed chimney.
