10/94 Thirty Acres Farmhouse 16.11.1954 - II
House, 1591, altered. Rendered rubble with stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Facade has a one-bay cross-wing at the right-hand side having modern windows, the 1st floor one with plain stone surround. At the left is an outshut having a door with plain stone surround. In the centre is one bay having a 3-light double-chamfered mullioned window with hood. On the 1st floor is a modern window. Chimney to left of door and on right-hand return wall of cross-wing, the latter chimney projecting and with a brick cap. This wall has a one-light chamfered window towards the left. To the right is a double-chamfered window with hood and 2 concrete mullions. On the 1st floor is a 2-light mullioned window with plain reveals. Interior. Inside the outshut porch is a chamfered doorway with Tudor-arched head inscribed '1591 EM'. Otherwise the ground floor contains little of interest apart from chamfered main joists.
