DENTON CHURCH STREET SK 8632-8732 (north side) 10/49 Estate Cottages Nos. 110 and 111 G.V. II Pair of cottages and former shop. Late C18, extended and altered early Cl9. Coursed ironstone rubble to left and red brick, originally colourwashed, in English garden wall bond of 4, to right. Pantile roof having single gable and ridge brick stacks. 2 storey, 3 bay front with central half glazed door with to left a 2 light sliding glazing bar sash, and to right 2 large square fixed glazing bar lights flank an original shop door opening now with a plain sash to the upper part all under one stopped chamfered lintel. To first floor is a single 2 light sliding glazing bar sash and a 2 light C20 glazing bar casement. Right hand openings have segmental brick heads, those to the left have timber lintels. Above the left hand ground floor window are splayed stone voussoirs for an earlier opening and all the original windows have unusually small panes of glass with delicate glazing bars.
