CLUNBURY C.P. CLUNTON SO 38 SW 3/68 - Barn approx. lOm south- west of Fold Farmhouse GV II
Barn. Mid-C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded and corrugated iron clad timber frame with woven infill visible to 3 panels to left; corrugated iron roof. Scattered eaves hatches and doorways including wide entrance in third bay from left. Interior: framing visible: square panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate, and irregular square and rectangular panels with short straight braces from wall posts to tie beams. Double-purlin roof in 6 bays with mixture of queen-strut trusses and raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters. Several reused timbers. Encloses west side of farmyard.
