STADHAMPTON THE GREEN SU6098 (West side) 14/162 Vine Cottage 28/06/79

GV II

House. Mid C18, extended C20. Colourwashed limestone rubble with some brick dressings; old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. 2-unit plan extended to rear. 2 storeys. Regular 3-window front with brick dentil eaves course has a 4-panel door below a single-light casement and has 2-light casements in the outer bays. All windows have brick quoins and segmental arches, and at ground floor have early C19 cast-iron Gothick casements. Brick rear outshut to right and 2-storey rear extension to left.
