SP43NE ADDERBURY OXFORD CANAL 1/93 Canal building approx. 10m W of King's Sutton Lock
GV II Canal building. Late C18/early Cl9. Brick with a Welsh-slate roof. Single range. One storey. Front has a wide cart entry to right, a narrower central doorway and two 2-light casements to left; right end has a further wide entry below a loft door. All openings have segmental arches. Shallow-pitched roof. Over the cart entry is the lock name-board. Interior not inspected. Forms a close group with King's Sutton Lock (q.v.), the lock-keeper's cottage and the bridge (q.v.). Included for group value.
