ATHERSTONE NORTH STREET SP3197 (South-west side) 10/142 Nos.15 and 17 (The Mews) - II Two houses, now several dwellings. Early/mid C19. Red brick with plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. Wooden cornice and brick dentil cornice to wings. U-plan with wings to rear. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Central carriage entrance has basket arch with painted stucco voussoirs. 9-light casement to either side with stucco lintel with keyblock. C20 cash-type windows to first and second floors have similar lintels. 3-storey wings to rear. Interior not inspected.
