My Dad Emory Castle worked at Berry Bros. My mom would bring us to visit my dad at the factory from time to time. We loved seeing the old building.

My Grandfather, Urban Joseph Berry Sr., was one of the Berry Brothers, Son Of Richard Girard Berry.Sr. Richard Girard Berry immigrated from County Cork, Ireland, during the Irish potato famine. It was designed to be passed to future generations. At one time I was a small owner, when Urban Joseph Sr. passed away, leaving his ownership to my father,Urban Joseph Berry Jr., who passed away four years later. Richard Girard Jr. bought me out shortly before he passed on. To the best of my knowledge, His son, Keith Berry, is the major owner still living (In Columbus Ohio) . There was much fighting among the Berry Brothers, and my grandfather blames the factory's failure on not keeping up with modern times. All of the factory equipment was hand made, using wooden carvings and dense sand, filled with molten metal to create parts.
