THE MINT 1. 1092 SX 9192 SE 5/326 29.1.53 St Nicholas' Priory 2. Re-founded under charter of William II. Granted to Sir Thomas Dennis at the Dissolution. Until recently was used as tenements. Bought by the City and restored as show place. Norman Undercroft, mediaeval Hall, Tudor room with plaster ceiling and oriel. (see also No 21 The Mint.) Red sandstone with slate roofs. Norman and Tudor doorway. Two C16 open timber roofs. AM.
