    The Haswell Hotel, recently purchased by Chris Anderson and Billybear Jarrett, has been unoccupied since 1994. It is currently under restoration/renovation, to be used as a private residence and affordable housing. One of the buildings on the property, formerly a gas station, is going to be made into a comfort station and campground for cyclists traversing the 4600 mile Trans American Bike Trail. Renovations scheduled for completion in 2026
