Mir i Arab Medressa

This impressive medressa with two blue domes stands opposite the Kalon Mosque. Founded in the 16th century, it was a working seminary until its closure in 1920. Stalin reopened it in 1944.

Christ's College Chapel

Constructed in the early 16th century, Christ's College Chapel in Cambridge retains its original timber roof, brass lectern, and some stained glass windows from this period. It was remodeled in the Neoclassical style in 1701-03.
