Hammams

Islamic public baths consisting of a series of cold and hot pools and steam rooms, primarily used for ritual purification; derived in principle from ancient Roman models. For buildings in which bathers pass through a sequence of primarily steam rooms and rooms for massages, prefer "Turkish baths.".
