    Completed in 1733 inside the Peter and Paul Fortress, the yellow Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul is characterized by a unique Protestant-influenced Baroque architecture. It is the oldest and second-tallest building in St. Petersburg.

    Known for its golden onion domes that can be seen from afar, this Russian Orthodox Church was built in 1888 by Tzar Alexander III.
