Tom
View west in the Tom Quad, built by master masons Henry Redman and John Lubyns in 1525 under the patronage of Cardinal Wolsey. When Wolsey fell from power, the quad was left unfinished - the arches intended to connect with the cloister can still be seen on the walls. Tom Tower was built 1681-82 by Sir Christopher Wren.
