Glastonbury Tor England

This mystical conical hill, topped by a 14th-century church tower, may have been a place of ancient ritual. The tower is the only surviving part of the Monastery of St. Michael, which occupied the summit from around the 12th century and was a place of Catholic penance and pilgrimage in medieval times.
