Caffé Molise (Eagles Building)

Now an upscale Italian restaurant called Caffé Molise, this Renaissance Revival brick building was constructed in 1915 as the Salt Lake City headquarters of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Devereaux House
Salt Lake City, Utah
1857; 1870s
Designed by William Paul, the Devereaux was built as a cottage for William Staines in 1857 and expanded to a mansion for William Jennings in the 1870s.

Daft Block

1887–89
The Daft Block (a.k.a. Daynes Jewelry Building; currently home to Beerhive Pub) was designed by Elias L. T. Harrison and H.W. Nichols in a Richardsonian Romanesque style and built 1887–89.

Joseph Smith Memorial Building (Hotel Utah)

Opened in 1911, the Beaux-Arts Hotel Utah was a rare cooperative venture of Mormons and non-Mormons, united by their wish for upscale lodgings in Salt Lake City. In 1993, it re-opened as the LDS-owned Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

Mormon Tabernacle
Salt Lake City, Utah
1864-75
Home to the famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir and renowned for its acoustics, this unique edifice was completed in 1875. It is in the heart of Temple Square in Salt Lake City and open for visits.
