Entrance Gateway 15 M N of Wamil Hall, with Attached Flanking Walls Which Return Towards W Mildenhall, England

Gateway, late C16. Probably for Sir Henry Warner (d.1617). About 3 m. wide and 4m. high; flanking brick walls built or rebuilt C18 and altered C20. Dressed limestone facade to north face of gateway, with backing piers of gault and orange brick.
