Founded in 1038 by a Dane and rebuilt in 1171 by a Norman, this ancient cathedral was extensively remodeled by the Victorians in the 1870s. Now part of the Anglican Church of Ireland, Christ Church is the mother church for the diocese of Dublin and Glendalough.
