Description of Trier Cathedral Treasury

The Treasury of Trier Cathedral is located in a small room on the right side of the elevated sanctuary. It contains a variety of beautiful religious artifacts, most of them crafted in Trier. The majority of the collection is from the medieval era, including golden reliquaries containing the Holy Nail and a sole of St. Andrew's sandal. Also on display are multiple croziers, chalices, censers, episcopal rings, ivory panels, and gospel books.
