Mnajdra porthole

One of the side-niches in Mnajdra South. Inside the trilithon is a "porthole", the characteristic stone with a square hole cut through it, and there is an alter in the apse beyond. This is the image used on the Maltese .01, .02 and .05 Euro coins.
