Cultural Learnings in San Francisco

We've spent the last two days exploring a whole lot of world cultures without leaving the city. San Francisco is extremely diverse, which makes it very interesting. Fortunately, in our limited experience at least, everybody seems to get along fairly well despite their differences. Yesterday's highlight was a visit to the magnificent Asian Art Museum, which I believe is the largest of its kind in the USA...

San Francisco Conference and Other Fun

Today was my ADSPACE conference and I really enjoyed it. It made me feel like I have a real job, and it was fun to be a Silicon Valley girl for a day. It was held in a slick new conference center and everything was ultra-modern and high-tech. There was nothing super revelatory in the presentations, but lots of good info and ideas that should help me have more success with my websites in the future...

Good Times in San Francisco

Just a quick note to say that we arrived safely in San Francisco this evening and we're having a great time! We enjoyed our short stay in Ashland last night and San Francisco has been really fun so far. It is beautiful and ridiculously hot here. High in the 90s today and again tomorrow, which is very unusual for San Francisco. But we have good A/C in our hotel, so we're chillin'...

And We're Off!

We're leaving shortly for San Francisco! Well, actually, for Ashland (or maybe Mount Shasta), where we'll spend one night to break up the drive. It's been a fun new experience to pack for only a week and not bring our passports. Photos from the road coming soon, hopefully!

San Francisco Plans

In a few weeks we going to San Francisco! We made this somewhat spur-of-the-moment decision because: 1) I discovered a conference scheduled for April 22 that I would love to go to, and 2) I've been wanting to go to San Francisco for years! The closest I've been is a layover at the airport. David has visited a few times before but loves it, so we're both quite excited...
