Gloucester Cathedral Images

The north nave aisle of Gloucester Cathedral, looking east. The massive Norman pillars (32 feet high and 6 feet in diameter) have been left untouched since their completion in the late 11th century. The Gothic stone vault replaced the original wooden roof in 1242. Credit: Holly Hayes. All Rights Reserved.
