Troia Cathedral Images

Beautiful rose window on the west facade of Troia Cathedral, dating from 1160-80 and filled with stone screens of Islamic-inspired geometrical designs. Arching around the window are carvings of human and animal figures. Typical Puglian lions keep watch on either side. Credit: Holly Hayes. All Rights Reserved.
